Stages
When your shooting schedule is tight – and it always is – the right stage makes all the difference to completing your project on time. With 29 sound stages ranging from 5,500-18,775 sq. ft., we’re capable of handling a number of large projects. In addition, we can accommodate multiple sets on any of our huge stages to make set moves quick and seamless. We also offer several audience rated stages, which are perfect for your next sitcom, game show or talk show hit. When you need the latest technology to make your project the best it can be, look no further than our stages, which are all Wi-Fi ready. No matter what you require for your project, The Studios at Paramount has a stage that will make filming easier both on the production process and on your budget.
New York Backlot
Few places have inspired more creativity than the city that never sleeps. But, why bother with city permits, fees, cordoning off traffic and other red tape when we can bring the city of New York to you? The Studios at Paramount’s New York Street encompasses a 5-acre site and recreates eight distinct areas of the city. In addition, we have the Chicago section, which resembles common architectural styles found in the Midwest. At several stories tall, the facades in each and every section create an authentic urban atmosphere perfect for capturing the excitement and drama that New York and other major metropolitan areas provide (even when they’re in Hollywood).
Lot Locations
Capturing the vision you see in your head requires the lighting and environmental conditions that only a natural setting can provide.To facilitate such occasions, we have multiple interior and exterior locations on the lot to match your filming criteria. Numerous parks are sprinkled around the lot providing scenic backdrops ranging from lush green spaces and parks adorned with swaying trees to city plazas with fountains. On top of that, the buildings on the lot are designed with a variety of facades so you can have a setting in almost any part of the world. Odds are good that you’ll find the perfect outdoor background you’re looking for.We even have the famous B-Tank, complete with a giant blue sky backing, perfect for filming water scenes right on the studio lot.
